  1. Nit & Wit are at it again:

19 is fail. Even the answers in the back of the book are fail. Wolfram alpha says i quote: "true". Whatever lemur came up with the answer in the back of the book was drunk.

  3. It doesn't make sense to me either. I came to say I WROTE A CONDITIONAL!!! all by myself too. That makes my smile inside. It was "If Katrina is awake then Eric's around here somewhere." It's for my retelling of Sleeping beauty. I looked at the converse "If Eric's around here somewhere then Katrina is awake." Which for one event is true! (When Eric breaks the spell) but not after that!! I don't give a &%$# if you find me crazy or psycho. I went to greystone today and i took my meds so i dont know why you would think that and i'm ranting. I like this more than the wiki just sayin. my comments are entertaining aren't they. i'm about to start my homework so i'll post more questions/comments/rants as i see fit. TT4N

  5. Listen folks, you have a QUIZ on Thursday... if there are no questions on the homework, that's fine. To me, no questions on the homework means 100% performance on quizzes and tests, and that's not happening.

  7. Hi Nora^2,

    a) do you realize that 4x-2y and 4x+2y are the measures of the angles in the diagram?
    b) do you realize a truth regarding same side interior angles in when cut by parallel lines?

You should now find that that you have in your possession two relationships (equations) stated in two unknowns (variables) - and hence a system of equations - that can be solved!!

The math gods are smiling because they see this beautiful blend of algebra and geometry (either that or they have gas).
