This Blog exists for the collective benefit of all geometry students. While the posts are specific to Mr. Chamberlain's class, any and all "geometricians" are welcome. The more specific your question (including your own attempts to answer it) the better.
What a WONDERFUL DAY to work on a Geometry Mid-Term Review!!! Per our conversation, the Unit 6 Test will be on Monday, and the Mid-Term will be on Friday. Let it snow... let's hit the books... woo-hoo!!
Two good uses of 5 minutes here and there... sit down and read your G.B. then next time, sit down and read pg 694-69? in your text book... I promise it will pay-off!
The mid-term is on Wednesday. Since no one has any review questions, we will start Unit 7 on Monday, take the MT Exam on Weds and resume Unit 7 on Friday (although that is our Quest8 Model UN day and most of the class, including me, won't be there). There is another possibility of a snow day this week either Weds or Thurs, so we will remain the flexible, strong, maneuverable unit that we have always been.
Since no one listens to anything I say in class, I am thinking of using period 2 as a "Simon's Cat" & "Annoying Orange" film festival period. Every now and then, we'll take 5 minutes or so to answer a geometry question, and twice every 3 weeks we will pause for a quiz and a test. Perhaps I can be convinced to include "Llamas with Hats" but I doubt it.
Perhaps we can use the blog to have a "Box and Whisker Plot" joke contest, as that might stimulate more interest that moldy-old Geometry problems... like what were Plato & Aristotle thinking anyway, ya know?!
Hmmm... or I could use the blog to rattle on nonsensically, since most of the time when I answer a question, no one reads it anyway... I don't know, whaddya you think?
Gotta go now... Cash Cab is running a Sunday marathon!!
